I am going to be a panelist at Discon III, the World Science Fiction Convention held in Washington DC. This will be my first time appearing as a panelist at an SF convention (though I’ve spoken at client conferences before). Here are the panels I’ll be appearing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The ones without a specific ‘room’ are virtual panels, and I’ll be attending by Zoom.

I’m starting to meet my other panelists, and discuss the questions for the panels. Also beginning to think about transport given Friday will be a work week day and I’ll be taking the Metro in. (Yes, I’m DMV all the way. Metro if you can, 7000 series cars be damned.)
And I admit, I’m a little freaked out. I’m a baby writer, all things considered, especially compared to some of the folks I’ll be on a panel with. I have to remember to breathe, speak in complete sentences, and let folks finish their thoughts.
