Where did October go? It was a quiet month on the blog, but my socials were busy. If you were on my Instagram, you’d have seen quite a frenzy in the middle of the month during NoirCity DC. But I’ll talk about that more in the middle of the month as I dig into the #NoirvemberChallenge.
Instead, I had some other items. First, my main set of edits on the novel – tentatively called Phantom Killer – were completed. The whole shebang is now in the hands of an Alpha reader who will give me an unvarnished view on if I should devote more energy to it.
Meanwhile, my alter egotist, A.J. Harris, had a bit of good news – an acceptance to the latest anthology edited by Delilah Devlin, Burn.
Featuring this great set of authors!
- A.J. Harris — Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires
- Ava Cuvay — Chillin’ With the Villain
- Brenda Margriet — Born in Flames
- Brent Archer – Author — A Spark of Adrenalin
- Cameron Allie — Blazing Bites
- Denise DeMarco — Controlled Burn
- Flo Journey — Hot-Shot Passion
- Gabbi Grey — One Perfect Moment
- J.K. Mill — Big Daddy Wildfire
- Lexi Thrall — Heat for Her
- Payton Harlie — Up in Flames
- Peyton Lawson — Ridge Burn
- Reina Torres — The One I Want
My story? It started with a quick idea mentioned on one of Cecilia Tan’s workshops featuring werebears, forest fires, and retired actresses. I’ve got to work on getting a logline for it… But this is a good problem to have.
Enjoy Autumn!
