As #Noirvember comes to a close, we are almost upon this year’s TurkeyDay. There will be talk of family gatherings – both families by blood and by choosing. Folks will be spending hours preparing meals for guests. Leftovers will be boxed and sent away after dinner. The grateful chef will sit down, hopefully with a favorite animal on their lap, and watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 with their half-conscious partner. A day of warmth and gathering.
But also – a day of remembrance. Over four-and-a-half decades ago, a great tragedy befell the people of Cincinnati.
